Europe Trip: Czech Republic > PRAGUE! (27/05/07)

The morning glory of Prague... Old Town Square in the day!

Compare to the mysterious feel at night, it looks like two totally different places! :P Today is more relax for us as we just take our stroll along the city since we had visited most of Prague yesterday... :)
Lunch treat from Daryl at another nice local restaurant...and this is one of the unique East European dish with the meat served in skewers...yummy... :)This is one of the must-eat dish in Czech...think is the roasted pork with potato dumplings...Bands of musicians can be seen everywhere in Europe, playing songs and songs of musics along the street, waiting for the ones who will appreciate them and give them some tokens of appreciation... :)This is the National Theatre of Prague...I think...hahaha...lol The huge decorated egg!

I have no idea if this represents Czech but the egg is so beautiful that I just can't help to take a photo with it! Though we were caught and "chased" away by the shopkeeper after that... :PWalking around Prague is practical as the city is not too big. Strolling along the river is the highlight of the whole trip! :DEiffel Tower of Prague??!

Nah...it's just some observatory towers I think...but the couple took their photos anyway to replace the one in France...hahaha...lolI believe this to be some Embassy or government building as you can tell from the flag at the front entrance. The blue flag with the circle of yellow stars in the centre is the European flag...to show that Czech is to be considered as one of the Europe union countries...Tower at the entrance of the Charles Bridge...the statues on it kinda looks gold-plated manz...awesome... *thinking of how to get them down :P*This signboards are located right in the centre of the river...probably acting as a break in between...coolz...lol I guess this must be some kind of the Czech humour ya? :P Geez...never get sick of the river!!! *bleam* :DIs Huiling trying to throw Daryl into the river...or...the other way round? :PI kinda envy the life of the ducks here...hahaha...lolRiver...AGAIN!!! :POne thing you often see in Europe is that there are probably hundreds, or even thousands of artists and painters selling their art pieces of the local sceneries along the buzzling streets...This is the Opera Theatre of Prague...probably one of the oldest buildings around here after the castles...love these "ah pek" houses! :P Taking this photo from the small islands in the middle of the rivers...and there are quite a few of such islands around for couples or family to laze around on them...
Stream of water separating the island from the mainland... The weather has been great for me throughout my trip in Prague...thank God! :DWe spent our last few hours in Prague rowing the boat in the river.

It may looks easy but it is never as simple as it is in action...hahaha...lolThe lovely couple!

Thank you to the both of them... :)Stoning on the boat is one enjoyable event when you are overseas... Charles Bridge from afar...
Railway station of Prague. Well, it looks juz like any other railway station though... ...yet the locket here is EXTREMELY BIG! (as demonstrated personally by me! :P)

The hardest time of the day is always the departure.

Somehow, the railway looks a little sad today... *sobz*

Exploring the European railway trains. Something different about them is probably most of the trains has a section of dinning area like this...very cozy to sit in right? :)

These two days in Prague has been wonderful for me. Prague is one of my most favourite places throughout the trip, for its romantic, beautiful sceneries and unique Eastern Europe culture.

Wish I can be here again some day...
