Europe Trip: UK > London! (feat. Buckingham Palace and Harrods...21/05/07)

Geez...as you can see, I am taking my own sweet time to blog about the Europe trip since these entries had been delayed so long. Yet, the experience is truly unforgettable and I guess the days are, as vaguely as they were remembered like they were just happened yesterday...... :)

The Buckingham Palace!
And that's the marching of the "matchstick heads" according to Huiling...ha...lol
The changing of the guard starts daily at 11am...and we make it in time to watch it...woohoo! :DI wonder if it is the horse or if it is their costumes, the guards look really handsome and cool somehow during the march...don't you think so? :)Even the policeman rides on the horse, probably to overlook the huge crowd in a easier way...coolz... :)The famous Four Season's duck rice! *grinz*

Honestly, it taste like the normal Cantonese style duck rice that you can get at most of the Hong Kong Chinese restaurants. But probably in a foreign place in London, it is certainly better than anything else there...well it is still worth the try! :)Harrods!Just the look of it from the outside, you can tell this is one posh shopping mall in the whole world...really very elegantly designed...The place is huge and every hall has a theme such as the Egyptian Hall. This is also probably one of the rare places where you see the world biggest brands such as LV, Gucci, Chanel having their stalls in a departmental store instead of the usual big boutiques that they have...well...The display cabinet has the "H" or Harrods logo on them, displaying a wide range of high quality goods. Here's just the nicest cup cakes I have ever seen so far! *bleam*The day has finally ended again with Huiling and I leaving for Poland at night. Before we go off, Daryl bought us a dozen of doughnuts from Krispy Kreme! :D

Well, who say we need to queue up for 2 hours to get hold of the famous doughnuts, ones that are even more famous than the Doughnuts Factory?! Hahaha...so come to Europe manz...lol
