My lazy Wednesday afternoon was interrupted by a call from Shuhui who jio me out for a shopping trip at town...yeah SHOPPING! :D Hahaha...lol
I didn't buy anything but spend quite a bit on food indulgence. Hahaha...I guess I just can't resist some good food after exam ya? :P Shuhui bought herself a shirt and skirt for her work. She continue her shopping trip while I have to take my leave to meet with Weng and the others to celebrate Bro Chris birthday at NYNY.

The dark serenity @ NTU

The Law gallery #7: Dark Serenity Sometimes, you may not have noticed the beauty before you.
Sometimes, you would want to keep searching for the finest things in life.
But do you know that we are already living in the world of beauty?
If you haven't find yours,
all you need to do,
is to take a deeper look around you,
learn to appreciate all the things God has created,
and placed in your life.
"Despite of the stressful life, NTU has its own ironically serenity at night. I will miss this place."

Vivo Sunday at last! :D

We love the food @ Bedok! :DSpotted a Mashi Maro eating hokkien prawn mee! :PFunny photo as usual...with someone interfere at the right place at the rigth timing somehow...haha...lolThe most ghostly photo ever...hahaha... :P Finally at Vivo! :D Top to bottom: Yehui, Terence, Me, and Deanna
Happy to be here at last! :DAt the rooftop...see the crowd behind? So many people manz...lol
After the service, we head for Bedok hawker centre to have our lunch there. Oh I tell you...I love Bedok! :D Hahaha...coz the hawker food there is cheap and nice...and a nostalgic feeling overwhelms me as I thought of those days when I stayed in Bedok...haiz...miss the stuff here... :) You can hardly find a nice plate of food that start with the digit '2' nowadays...everywhere there is inflation and the average cost for a meal will be at least $3 onwards...haiz...I wish there is inflation in my pocket too...hahaha...lol
Anyway, we had fun and enjoy our meal at Bedok before we took the Bus 30 to our long awaited destination -- Vivo City! :D It was a bit crowded but less than what I have expected. The shopping experience there is not as great as I thought because most of the shops are branded and pretty expensive. But what I love most about Vivo is the beautiful sea view of Sentosa and its cozy ambience...perfect for family and friends outing and a romantic spot for couples too! :) Hahaha...lol

Cont'd the Vivo experience... :P

The rooftop pool...it is juz so big! :)The Law gallery #4: Hang on there! :P I just love looking out to the sea like this... :)
I guess this is the highlight of the whole of Vivo City -- the perfect scenery and ambience for couples and family and friends... :D
The Law gallery #5: "Are we there yet?"
[snowman talking] Magnificent chinese junk...we should be proud to be a Chinese...hahaha...lol Yehui&Terence's very rare candid shots! :P

Ben & Jerry ice-cream at last...yummy yum yum! :D

We took lots of photos there, enjoying ourselves and having fun...lol Love the Ben & Jerry ice cream! :) Waited for this moment to come ever since my exam period...hahaha...thanks to Yehui & Terence for your treat too...so happy! :D

Gonna be back tomorrow night to watch the movie "Happy Feet" with Weng, Terence, Shu Hui and her friend. Hahaha...though I still feel the ache to put my money to watch the show coz I find it a bit kiddy, but then, the joy of going to watch a show with them, experiencing the everyone-talking-about-it-now cinema, GV Vivo, and the cute little penguins in the movie...well, it should still worth the go rite? :) Hahaha...*fully justified myself for the movie expense...yeah* :P

E240 @ ECP! :D
Sunshine smile on every one of us :)
Reminds me of Corrine May's "Journey":

It's a long long journey...

Relaxing and shopping around Parkway Parade

Love this dress but sadly it is out of my budget...so take a photo of it... :P

Went to Katong for laksa after that and meet up with Amanda at Marine Parade to shop for a while. We decided to remove our plan to go for Vivo City today and attended Rev Dr Phil Pringle service today. The message was on "Prayer" today and really inspired by it. :) The P&W session was brilliant with CCC's presence...simply enjoying every bits of it! :D

"Don't be reliant on your talent skills...how much you can change in your life is how much God is in you. Return to your first love for Him wherever you go. Amen."

Post-exam joy = new digicam + shopping + meeting Shuhui & Joanne + cell group meeting

Our act cute shots! :P
There is an old Chinese saying "三个臭皮匠,胜过一个诸葛亮。” So here it goes...臭皮匠 #1: Joanne (drawing out the letters for "Happy Birthday" in her own style)臭皮匠 #2: Shuhui (cutting out and pasting the words and cards)臭皮匠 #3: Christine (drawing shadow for the letters and the decorate the card with fireworks)Our final product...Dennis' Birthday card! (edited version) :PWhile we were taking our usual candid shots...who's the spy behind us?!This is Joanne&I's artistic shots again -- the dao-looking ones...lol
Well, guess we still look better in a nice normal pictures...SMILE! :D
Thank God for my exam is finally over this morning.

Thank God for the new digicam, Nikon Coolpix s7c, for which I finally got it today and able to take wonderful pictures (as seen from the photos).

Thank God for the enjoyment that I feel once again from shopping that I had long ceased for quite some time. :P

Thank God for the afternoon meeting with Joanne and Shuhui to have fun together making Dennis' birthday card.

Thank God for tonight cgm's message which is on Faith again...coz I need those words now... :)

Chris was emphasizing on showing the faith-face, that is our countenance. We cannot come to cgm with the same expectation everyday or we will never experience our breakthrough. Hence, God wants us to step out! God wants us to 1) step out into the unknown -- expect our faith to be stretched and hang on to it till God's glory come into your life; 2) step out into the impossible -- faith is activated in doing and not on hearing or talking; and 3) step out in confidence -- the first person you ask if you can do certain things should YOU and not God.

But to strengthen our faith, we also need to do our parts on:
  1. Have confidence in a strong heart -- you need to protect and guard your heart, and be with the right people who will protect your heart
  2. Protect your mind -- from the negative thoughts, and those that are undesirable
  3. Strong in the Words / actions -- act on the right thing, and plan and work like there is no tomorrow
  4. Step out from the pool of the world -- when the value of God's words sowed in you is great, the pull from the world will be gone

Hence, we need to step out if we want a change in our lives. Yeah! :)

Tomorrow will be going for cycling with the cell. Still thinking and seeing who are going for pastor Phil's service tomorrow night. Really wish to go as the CCC band will be there to rock the hall too...hahaha...lol Looking forward to a great weekend after my exam manz...and with all the photos that I can now take with my camera! *grinz* :D

Still, I think this is the best shot of the day... :)
