Pengegrang Cycling Trip! (29/09/07)

Before setting off from Changi Village and guess what we had for breakfast? It's nasi lemak! :DOur group is so big that we were split into 3 boats. Here's my cell group...say cheeze! The boat ride took about 45 minutes. On the way, we passed by islands and other marine transports which we don't see them often near the coast. Indeed, it was quite an enjoyable ride...Finally we have reached our destination!Let the journey begins! :DThe original Malay kampong village and its quiet road...something that we won't get to see often in our busy Singapore city. Isn't it simply great to be a little closer to the nature? :)The smiles on everyone's face show how much we love the trip. :)That's me! :PTaking a break at the grocery shop. It was the old traditional kind of mama shop where you get to buy sweets and biscuits off the jars by single pieces...coolz...lolFrom left to right: Esther's friend and Esther, Ellouise, Florentine, Andy, Jason. We cycled for another 30 mintues more after our first rest stop before we reached our wonderful seafood restaurant...can't wait to make our orders! :PWe can't wait to eat...where's our food? *grinz* Our table ordered a total of 8 dishes including the yummilicious crabs and prawns! Woohoo! :DSee these big juicy cereal prawns? Aww.... *drool* :PMoments of our hungry faces! Hahaha...lolThat's CHILLI CRAB!
Thumbs up for the best lunch ever! :D
We continue our 2-hr cycle journey back to the jetty as we need to reach there before 4pm for our boat back. I love the nature as it always give a relaxing and peace in the mind and the heart.Beautiful plantation sight...Our same old spot for group photo taking last year...except many of the people inside have changed and the group is now even much bigger! :))Isn't this look like a painting on its own? :)

Finally back at the Pengerang jetty. Thank God for this wonderful journey!

Thank God for the weather as the sun only comes around our return journey, giving us a rather cloudy way to the restaurant.

Thank God for the protection on us as all of us are safe and healthy throughout this trip.

Thank God for the blessings that our hearts are filled with joy and happiness as we cycled with one another.

Thank God for everything. :)
