Day 1 @ Macau [Part 2/3] -- Senado Square

Macau Post / 大三巴 -- Heart of Macau / City Council of Macau Don't we look alike?! :P
[Background: Holy House of Mercy...another tourists attractions of Macau]
My first time watching fire crackers exploding!!!
The security has taken us by surprise as he ignites the fire crackers where the place is still packed with people. I only notice it when people suddenly shun away from the spot.
It is actually kinda scary in the process of capturing these photos as the noise is very loud and the smoke is choking even I was standing at a distance away.
It feels like those bomb explosions to me that you see on TV. Oh well, fire crackers ARE indeed explosives what...hahaha...lol
Senado Square! Can't recall the name of this church but it is one of those old catholic churches in Macau ever since it is under the rule of the Portugese in the 16th centuries. It is now opened like a museum to the public to visit.Lunch @ a Chinese restaurant that specialises in Guangzhou Shun De dishes
My mum's hometown is from Shun De (while dad and I are from Pan Yu)
Clockwise from top-left: Steamed egg with shredded meat & corn worms; Pork tongues stewed with pomelo skins; Fried fish mouths; and Deep-fried milk.
The dishes above, according to my parents, are rare to find nowadays as it needs lots of skills and time to cook them. The knowledge and skill has somehow faded over the years.
See the corn worm on the egg?
It actually taste like normal steamed egg and you would not have noticed the worms at all if no one mentions about it to you as they are very tiny.
Both my parents love this dishes a lot.
For me, I am not really a big fan of it as I still can't pass my own psychological barrier.
