Europe Trip: UK > Scotland - Edinburgh/Edinburgh Castle! (11/06/2007)

Back to Edinburgh! We went up to a hill to see the overview of Edinburgh from another angle.
This structure was found right on top of the hill...doesn't it look like the smaller version of the one at the Roman Forum in Rome? =) I am always captivated by such old old structures with pillars...hahaha...lol
The structures create a beautiful backdrop for the green bench here...haha...lol Overview of Edinburgh
I enjoy viewing Edinburgh...from the top...in different angles... *wink* =) My camera works pretty good of zooming in on the buildings below! Hahaha...lol
We walked back up to find the Edinburgh Castle after we returned back our car.
The Witchery shop...how interesting...lolNotice there are quite a number of interesting shops along the street too besides the Witchery shop. Like the Edinburgh Dungeon is actually just a horror themed restaurant...wooh...Souvernir from Scotland...how about the Scotch Whisky? =DMan wearing skirts is the symbol and culture in Scotland...and these hotel guards say it all! The Scotland money!
Well, it is actually pounds printed from RSB...which that applies only to Scotland... *shrug* My travel mates: [left to right] Daryl and his friends, Colin and Emily
Edinburgh Castle!
Edinburgh Castle is one of the most visited castle in Scotland as most of the buildings are very much preserved in good condition in its original state.
Cute Scottish boy in the army uniform! =D
Roaming around in the castle... Since the castle is located at the top of the hill, you can have an overview of Edinburgh from here too...with the sign here telling you the prominent buildings in Edinburgh... =)
The view from the castle is juz GREAT! =DD
